2003
Baby Frock
An extension of Cathryn Dajka’s colorful and eclectic style, Frock opened its doors in 2003 in the Roncesvalles Village. With a deep connection to the neighborhood, Cathryn recognized the potential for her community to embrace and express their individuality through fashion. This vision gave birth to Frock – a space where people could channel their creativity and celebrate their distinct identities.
2016
Teenage Frock
Through many years spent fostering a safe and welcoming community, Frock transcended its role as a boutique, becoming a catalyst for many aspiring entrepreneurs. Guided by Cathryn's mentorship and infectious spirit, friends and patrons found inspiration to pursue their dreams beyond the scope of Frock and create meaningful community spaces of their own.
2024
Adult Frock
In 2022, Cathryn passed away, but her impact on the Toronto fashion scene continues to resonate throughout the city. Now led by Cathryn’s husband, Jim Pauk, Frock begins its newest phase, extending its distinctive principles and personal encounters to a broader audience.
Frock isn’t merely a store; it’s akin to being in the wardrobe of your chic confidante, sharing laughter and cherished moments that instill a sense of support and empowerment to face the day ahead.
